I e-mailed a few weeks ago asking if anyone was interested in a stack of 1950s programmes & photos from the stage club belonging to my mother, Pamela Canavan, who has passed away. I have had no reply or e-mail returned as undeliverable. I have not got the room to store these for any length of time and do not wish to consign them to the attic never to be seen again until I pass away! ** Stage Struck **

Hi,

I was a member of the Stage Club from 1976 to 1980, and still like to dip into your web site to see what's going on. I wrote the pantomimes Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella in 1970 and 1980 respectively.

Hello. Someone told me today that they saw me on a poster for Little Women as Marmie. It is not me, but looks like me. And I love theatre work. I was in CATS last summer in middle Tennessee. Perhaps one day I will go out for a show. I could certainly be this girl's understudy!

Talking Heads.
I thought it was an excellent production.

It was really well done. I liked the fact that you kept moving from one character to another.

I really like the theatre but it's so bloomin' cold! I forgot to tell the friend I took along to bring something warm to wear and she said afterwards if hadn't been such a good performance, she would have had to leave to get warmed up!

We're so pleased to have 're-discovered' (via your web site) the wonderful Singapore Stage Club which we were members of back in 1977/78. The first production I was in was 'The Private Ear' followed by 'Boeing, Boeing', with dear old Maureen Clark and Chris Allen. We're also very happy to see that David and Eileen Hickman, 'you're still there' holding the fort! Our best wishes to any who may remember us.
